As I've previously posted, I'm looking forward with great anticipation to Spike Jonze's adaptation of Where the Wild Things Are, and was glad to stumble across a few new pictures from the film as well as a massively lengthy interview with the director. Now if only they'd release the film, then I can clap in a darkened theater like a toddler on a sugar high...

I'm so looking forward to this - I'm a big fan of Dave Eggers' stuff, and from what little has been revealed so far it looks like Spike Jonze has really nailed the feel of the book in a life-action setting … I really hope after all this time that the studio doesn't stick their oar in and screw it up.
Since you've told me about this, I've been so excited I just want to hug myself.
