Threadless in Space-Time

Today's the first day you can pick up the new "Comics-On Tees" series of Threadless shirts written by Jeffrey Brown and drawn by Anders Nilsen, Jeff Lemire, Mr. Brown, and myself. The group of four shirts is available as a pack or as individual shirts, but be sure to get them all: the shirts tell one continuous tale. If you only get one, you'll never know what happens next! Egad. So either get three of your friends to go in on this with you and constantly hang out as a group for the rest of your life OR buy the shirts and sew them into one madman's toga. Either way, you come out a winner.

Shirts! Bang! Bang!

The good people of Earwolf and Comedy Bang! Bang! have printed up shirts with the logo I drew for the aforementioned (and always enthralling) podcast. The two designs (pictured above) are available here and here.

I got a few of said shirts in the mail and I can confirm: these can easily take care of 50% of your nudity. (If you happen to be a tiny baby? Maybe upwards of 100.)

Grab Some Bad Vibes

I've mentioned him before and I'll mention him again: Johnny Sampson. A solid person and an even solid-er artist. But why has this person-artist of such solidity not set up a store called Bad Vibes where you can purchase his goods? But, wait! He has set up a shop precisely named Bad Vibes, and it so happens that you are able to purchase his exact goods at said so-named shop.

Crisis averted. Christmas: saved.

Shirt on Woot, Shirt Shop Sale

Today through midnight, I have a shirt on sale at shirts.woot, which you can pick up for the meager price of $10. The shirt will continue to be on sale afterward, but the price goes up, so if you want a visual for pac-man's death rattle, complete with metallic grill: have at it.

For the length of the sale on woot, I'm also offering the shirts on the Forlorn Funnies Shirt Shop at a reduced price: almost all items in the shop are $15 (including the designs below). Afterward all the shirts go back up to the regular price ($20 in most cases), so clothe yourself in a hurry.

And of course, check back on Thursday for the weekly t-shirt. So many shirts! Put them all on at once and collapse of heat exhaustion!

Happy Halloween (Shirts)

To celebrate Halloween here on the blog, I'm posting a few (thus far unused) drawings and designs for t-shirts from this year and last year. These may see the light of day at some point in the near future, as I have plans to launch a t-shirt site sometime soon. But for now, enjoy some monster graphics free of charge.

"Oh Well" (Sort Of) Storms the T-Shirt World

Though I did a small run of this shirt (printed by the always great to work with Black Hole Press here in Chicago), and included it in a wave of merchandise featured in this Sunday Service for the Holy Consumption, I never sold the "Oh Well" shirt online. But now it's up for the public to digitally nab on the t-shirt site woot. Not that Schubert, the philosophical nihilist human, cares, nor does the omniscient Anaximenes, Schubert's cat/dog (note: Schubert doesn't believe in ownership or species) fail to see how it will all turn out.

My favorite comment about the shirt as of this post: "Strange design, makes ya think weird thoughts. I like it in some odd way: I just cant wear this on a shirt."

Oh Well. As my mother would always say to us when we were young: "de gustibus non disputandum." Which I think meant we should do our homework.
