"Obscure Punctuation:" Hodgman Roasts Obama
If you haven't already watched John Hodgman's nerd screed at this years Radio and Television Correspondents' Dinner, please better yourself by doing so now. That he held the crowd as perfectly as he did with ever more obscure sci-fi references speaks to the depth of the true nerdiness present.

Delocated
This show recommends itself on its premise alone: A man in the Federal Witness Protection Program who decides to put himself and his family in a reality show.
I came across this on the blog of that bespectacled wonder, Mr. John Hodgman. And it's worth noting that the last Paul Rudd credit (House Hunting) mentioned in the above embedded video is a short film (based on a Michael Chabon story) in issue five of the Wholphin series, which I highly suggest acquiring.

Coming Soon: Mr. America!
The venerable John Hodgman just posted this through Twitter, and I was delighted to see it. My editor at the briefly relaunched Life magazine, Mark Adams, has a new book coming out, titled "Mr. America: How Bernarr Macfadden Transformed the Nation Through Sex, Salad, and the Ultimate Starvation Diet." Mark told me about the book over sushi while I was in New York briefly a couple years ago, and it's one of those unbelievable but true tales from the boiling stew of our nation's history. Give the video a look and be sure to pick up the book when it makes its way to breakfast tables across the world.
