One of the books discussed, authored by my pal Dan Sinker, will be coming out soon, and I was happy to be able to do the cover (below). Moreover, I was happy to be able to discuss with Dan, via late-night e-mails, the proper cut of a duck's mustache.

I have to admit that the falconer action came from Mr. Sinker himself. I wish I could take credit, but I'll only take credit for knowing a good idea when I hear it.
