Oh, good timing, sir - I'm just about to start reading Mother, Come Home!
(By the way, nice to see Sufjan Stevens on the list!)
Thanks, Tim. I hope you enjoy the book and the soundtrack.
And speaking of Sufjan, have you heard about this fellow in Brooklyn who's holding on to one of his tracks? Bizarre. I'm not sure what to think of it:

That's mad-bonkers. I remember reading about the contest, but never knew what happened afterwards. I'm torn between thinking it's very cool that he's being so protective of it, and feeling a bit miffed that there's a Sufjan song I'm never going to hear … unless the guy relents and pops it on the interwebs.
I'm slightly troubled by the line "The experiment lures strangers to Mr. Duffy's living room about once a week" in the article. Makes the whole thing sound a tad sordid.
Right. I mean, hey, I like Sufjan's music, but there's no way I'm going into some hipster's sex dungeon to hear a single track. He can hold on to that song for as long as he wants, thank you very much.
OK, so I read Mother, Come Home. I don't want to be all gushy about it, because I'm as devoid of emotion as a Vulcan.
Instead I'll just say that I know I've enjoyed a book when I find myself rereading certain pages two or three times in order to fully absorb the emotional impact of what's taking place on them.
Read into this what you will, but there are certain pages in Mother, Come Home that I read about eight or nine times. I think in the grand scheme of things I read this book about three times in one sitting.
Thanks, Tim. You're every bit the kind Vulcan.
I listened to all the songs and I loved the book. thank you
And thank you, Jenna.
